Artist Statement

I create as a journey of self-discovery. Each piece, on its own,is a moment of transition. I wanted to take the time to think through my existence and figure out what my purpose in life is. As I completed each piece of art I felt as though I was one step closer to fulfilling the conquest to find my place in this world. In each creation there is a residue of my spirit and the feelings that I have as I observe whatever is around me. I use my work as a tool to decorate the world, not only how I see it, but also how I want it to be. For me art is the reality of happiness, and I will hang on to that until I dissipate. My greatest desire is to move through life as an artist and share my work with the world. I hope to encourage others to find their own dream and follow it.
